The Executive Committee of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) began its 160th annual meeting on Monday, June 26 at its headquarters in Washington DC.
The delegations of PAHO member countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Antigua and Barbuda, Guatemala, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago, will discuss – throughout the week, different strategies and plans to improve health In the Americas. We highlight the treatment of the Sustainable Health Agenda 2018-2030 and a policy on ethnicity and health, among other issues.
The results of this meeting will be brought to the PAHO Sanitary Conference in September of this year.
Mundo Sano was invited to attend this meeting as an institution that maintains Official Relations with PAHO, in which it is represented by Marcelo Abril, Executive Director.
