Mundo Sano joins forces with EDCTP to fund research on neglected infectious diseases

On 16 June 2017, the Mundo Sano Foundation and the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) created a partnership to leverage research funding for neglected infectious diseases (NIDs). The government of Castilla will acknowledge Mundo Sano

The Government of Castilla La Mancha has announced the awarding of an acknowledgement approved by the Government Council at its session, where Mundo Sano’s contribution to development and research was recognized. Next 31st May, the foundation will be awarded a plaque of appreciation for the actions focused on community health within the sphere of the neglected diseases.

Over 700 people had the Chagas tests performed last Sunday in Madrid

Madrid, Sunday 22nd May. Mundo Sano and Salud entre Culturas, with health staff from Hospital Ramón y Cajal, carried out diagnosis tests for detection of Chagas disease in Usera district. Approximately 700 men, women and children attended the Centro Cultural de Usera to have the diagnosis made. The samples taken were transferred to the Centro Nacional de Microbiología (ISCIII), where they will be analysed.
