“The work developed by Mundo Sano in each of its operation centers has a foundation: “being local”. For that reason, it has its own structure of technical professionals, local collaborators and entomology labs of the endemic areas. Thus, by offering a research structure in the hot regions of the endemic diseases, an ideal room for the development of local and world scientists is created. Real and sustainable results were obtained by this way of working: in all places where Mundo Sano’s control strategies are applied, there is an evident reduction in the incidence of treated diseases”.
