Mundo Sano is an active partner of the commission for vector control.

The concern for Chagas disease globalization is currently in the World Health Organization agenda (WHO). WHO's last report calls for preventing pandemic risks of infectious diseases which are spreading faster than ever.

Last July, WHO brought together in Geneva 130 specialists and representatives from Latin America, Europe, United States and Japan with the purpose of working on Latin American experience applying the knowledge from countries where Chagas disease was not endemic. The outcome of that meeting was the creation of the Global Network for Chagas elimination and the formation of technical commissions of which Mundo Sano is an active member.
